Arizer Replacement Parts Finder: Solo, Air, ArGo and XQ2 by Model

In short: Arizer replacement parts come in three families. The Solo and Air portables (Solo, Solo II, Solo II MAX, Solo III, Air, Air II, Air MAX and Air SE) all take Arizer's Air/Solo glass aroma tubes, so stems carry across them. Check caps and screens against each product's listed models. The ArGo and Go SRT use the smaller Go glass, and the Go SRT adds its own Go Shells. The XQ2, Extreme Q and V-Tower desktops share a cyclone bowl fitting. Find your model in the table below, then follow the link to the parts that fit it.

Below: how to tell which family your Arizer belongs to, what each model came with, and which spares to look for, with links to the right collection.

Step 1: Identify Your Model

Three questions narrow it down:

  1. Does it plug into the wall and have a glass bowl on top? It's a desktop: XQ2, Extreme Q or V-Tower.
  2. Does the glass stem disappear inside the body? That's the Go SRT. If the stem sticks out of the top of a small rectangular body, it's an ArGo.
  3. Otherwise it's a Solo or an Air. The model name is printed on the unit and the box. Either way, the glass is the same Air/Solo size.

Whichever it is, note the serial number on the base. Arizer asks for it, with your receipt, on any service request.

Solo and Air Parts

Arizer lists its Air/Solo glass aroma tubes, in 70, 90 and 110 mm lengths, as fitting every Solo and Air model from the originals to the Solo III and Air SE. That shared tube size is why stems carry across the whole family. The parts you'll actually replace:

  • Glass stems: they break if dropped. Standard lengths are in standard stems and mouthpieces. New glass can feel tight at first. For the Solo III and Air MAX, Arizer's tip is to heat the unit to 200 °C for 1–2 minutes, then insert the tube.
  • Stem caps: our silicone stem caps (pack of 5) or pack of 10 are 18 mm, thick silicone designed to fit securely. The trade-off is that they won't fit inside Arizer's stock plastic travel tubes.
  • Screens: our domed basket screens push into the stem without cutting and are made for the Solo II, Solo III and Air II, including the MAX versions. Read the screens section below before you buy.
  • O-rings: if stems on an older Solo or Air start to feel loose or leak around the joint, fresh rings restore the seal. Our triple-size O-ring kit is made for the Solo, Air and Air II. Our O-ring guide explains which size goes where.

XL stems, an honest fit note: Arizer sells its own XL glass aroma tubes for the Solo III only. Our XL and Aero XL stems are listed for the Solo, Solo II, Solo II MAX, Solo III, Air, Air II, Air MAX and Air SE. If you have an older unit and want a bigger bowl, our listings say they fit, but Arizer doesn't confirm it for its own XL glass. If you're unsure, send us your model before ordering.

Maintenance spares are grouped in Solo and Air replacement parts and maintenance. Moving from a Solo II to a Solo III? See whether Solo II and Solo III stems are interchangeable.

ArGo and Go SRT Parts

The ArGo uses Arizer's shorter Go glass, which isn't interchangeable with Solo or Air stems. The ArGo comes with two Go glass aroma tubes, two Go stem caps and four Go screens. The spares owners go through:

The Go SRT is different. It hides the stem inside the body, uses Arizer's Go Shells (small glass pods with their own Go filter screens) and has a smaller chamber than the Solo and Air. Solo and Air stems and Apex Pods won't fit the Go SRT, but Arizer lists its Go frosted glass tube for both the ArGo and Go SRT, so check other accessories individually. Before you buy any third-party part for a Go SRT, check that the product page names it. Some of our ArGo listings do and some say ArGo only. If in doubt, ask us first.

The full range is in ArGo stems, parts and accessories, with maintenance items in ArGo screens, spacers and maintenance.

XQ2, Extreme Q and V-Tower Parts

The three desktops share a cyclone bowl fitting. Arizer lists its glass cyclone and Connoisseur bowls for all three, and the bowls, screen caps, whips and glass elbows we make for the XQ2 are listed for the Extreme Q and V-Tower too. The parts that wear are screen caps, balloon bags (XQ2 and Extreme Q only, since the V-Tower never came with a balloon kit), the whip and any glass that gets dropped. One part that doesn't cross over is the internal glass heater cover: Arizer sells it for the Extreme Q and V-Tower, not the XQ2. Start with XQ2 and Extreme Q replacement parts, and see desktop filter screens and maintenance for screens.

Do You Even Need Screens?

Many people buy screens without realising they're optional on the portables. Arizer's glass aroma tubes have a screen built into the glass, and its own support pages say the metal screens are included for convenience but make vapour harsher and dull the flavour. Arizer recommends a coarser grind without a metal screen.

So why buy screens? A fine grind can let bits through the built-in glass screen. If that happens to you, a metal screen helps. If you grind coarse, you can skip them. Our Solo II vs Solo III screen size guide covers sizing if you do use them.

Batteries, Power and Servicing

  • Batteries: the Air SE, Air MAX and ArGo take swappable batteries, and Arizer says to use only its official cells, warning that it can't vouch for third-party ones. The Solo II's battery isn't user-replaceable, so that's a job for Arizer's service team.
  • Chargers and power adapters: Arizer's safety notes say to use only official batteries and chargers, and not third-party or unknown brands.
  • Heaters and electronics: Arizer gives a lifetime warranty on the heating element across its range. Glass isn't covered on any model. If the heater fails, email service@arizer.com with your serial number and proof of purchase. Don't open the unit.
  • Go Shells and the On The Go Cap (Go SRT): Arizer parts, listed on its Go SRT parts page.
