DynaVap H3: the American Helix glass vape replaces the H2
Share
DynaVap put The H3 on sale on Thursday 22 October 2026. It is the new version of the glass-bodied H2, made with American Helix Glass, and it now comes with a Titanium WoodWynd mouthpiece. The H3 costs $109 USD on DynaVap's website, and a new American Helix Glass Stem v2 is also sold on its own for $40 USD. Both showed as in stock when we checked on 26 October. DynaVap hasn't published a blog post or press note about the launch, but the old H2 product address now redirects to the H3, so the new model takes over from the H2, which had already sold out. We don't stock the H3 or the Helix stem; both are sold directly by DynaVap.
What the H3 is
The H3 combines an American Helix Glass Midsection, DynaVap's Helix Titanium Tip with Captive Cap, and a Titanium WoodWynd mouthpiece. Glass forms the central section, with the tip and mouthpiece completing the device at either end.

The midsection uses American Helix's patented Helix Venturi technology. DynaVap describes it as "creating a vortex of air that swirls the vapor", and says this produces smooth, cool, flavourful vapour. Those are DynaVap's claims; we haven't tested the H3 ourselves. The glass also has an anti-roll feature.
The Helix Titanium Tip has a half-bowl setting for smaller amounts of dry herb. It weighs just over three grams and has thicker chamber walls intended to give an even roast. Its construction includes three convection ports, internal channels and a gold-coloured DuraDyn chamber. DynaVap also sells the Helix tip separately for $59 USD.
What changed from the H2
The clearest addition is the separate Titanium WoodWynd mouthpiece. The archived H2 listing described an American Helix Glass Midsection, Helix Titanium Tip and Captive Cap, without listing a separate mouthpiece. The H3 retains those named core components and adds the mouthpiece to the package.
The price has risen by $10, from the H2's archived $99 USD to $109 USD for the H3. The H2 page was marked sold out in the archive snapshot dated 11 August 2026. Its former product address now redirects to the H3 listing.
The new listing also gives overall lengths with and without the mouthpiece and specifies compatibility with 8mm mouthpieces. The separate glass section is now listed as the American Helix Glass Stem v2. DynaVap has not detailed further glass changes, so the v2 name alone should not be taken as evidence of a redesigned airflow system or different cooling performance.
Fit and compatibility notes
The glass section is approximately 74mm long. The complete H3 measures approximately 115mm with its mouthpiece fitted, or 98mm without it. Those figures are useful when considering both the assembled device and how it will be stored.
Tip fit is 8mm, and DynaVap lists compatibility with all its tips. Mouthpiece fit is also 8mm, but there is an explicit exception: the stem is not compatible with the VonG X mouthpiece. Existing owners should check the mouthpiece they plan to use instead of assuming every DynaVap component will fit.
The storage restriction is equally clear. Neither the H3 nor the separate stem fits a DynaStash or SlimStash. The H3 comes with a complimentary SnapStash, so anyone planning to reuse an existing storage case should account for that limitation before buying.
Who it suits: a practical take
The H3 is most relevant to readers who want the American Helix glass section as part of a complete device, with the Helix tip, Captive Cap and mouthpiece already included. Its half-bowl option also gives users a setting for smaller quantities of dry herb.
For someone who already owns suitable components, the separate American Helix Glass Stem v2 costs $40 USD from DynaVap. It has the same listed dimensions, tip fit, mouthpiece exception and storage restrictions. That makes the choice between stem and complete device largely a question of which parts the buyer already has and wants to keep using.
Pairing with what you already own
The WoodWynd connection provides some context for the new mouthpiece. DynaVap says its WoodWynd mouthpiece contains a mimicked triple helix to match the Helix Tip and snaps into the condenser without o-rings. If you like the idea of a Helix Tip and that mouthpiece but prefer wood to glass, the DynaVap WoodWynd we sell pairs a slim wood stem with the same Helix Titanium Tip and Captive Cap.
If you already own a DynaVap tip and simply want to try glass, there are cheaper ways in. Our Globe Glass Stem adds a cooling chamber in a short body, and the Spiralled Cooling Stem (pack of two) gives the vapour a longer, coiled path. Both are made for standard DynaVap tips, including the Helix Titanium Tip. They are not the patented Helix Venturi design, so treat them as everyday glass rather than an H3 substitute. The rest of the range is in our DynaVap stems, bubblers and accessories collection.
The H3's 115mm overall length sits in the middle of the range. If you are weighing up shorter or longer glass, our recent guide to DynaVap stem lengths covers the trade-offs between cooling, flavour and pocketability.
The bottom line
The H3 is a refresh rather than a reinvention. It keeps the American Helix glass and Helix Titanium Tip of the H2, adds a Titanium WoodWynd mouthpiece, moves to a v2 stem with a stated 8mm mouthpiece fit and costs $10 more. If you already own DynaVap tips, the $40 USD stem is the cheaper way to try the Helix glass. Either way, check two things before you buy: the stem won't take a VonG X mouthpiece, and it won't fit a DynaStash or SlimStash.
