I'm a big guy - not fat just big, like size 15 feet big - and tend to break things in one way or another. The other angled stems for my Arizer not only broke easily, they shattered into many small shards. The Ultra Thick Glass seems to be very robust and it fit perfectly into my Arizer Solo 3
